What PixelFix Pro is
PixelFix Pro is a free web-based toolkit for editing images and PDFs — entirely inside your browser, with no file ever uploaded to a server. It started as a single image editor and has grown into three connected tools: an Image Editor for single-photo editing, a Batch Editor for processing entire catalogues at once, and a PDF Toolkit for conversion, merging, splitting, and rotating documents.
Every other free image editor we'd used forced an account, uploaded photos to a server, capped file sizes, or hid basic tools behind a paywall. PixelFix Pro runs 100% in your browser using modern web APIs — HTML5 Canvas, OffscreenCanvas, and the File API. Your images are processed locally on your device. They are never sent to any server, never stored, never analysed. We genuinely cannot see your photos — not because we choose not to look, but because they never reach us.
How it works, technically
When you drop an image into PixelFix Pro, your browser loads it into an ImageBitmap object held entirely in memory. Every operation — resizing, compression, colour adjustment, cropping, rotation, format conversion, watermarking — runs through OffscreenCanvas pixel manipulation, which executes on your device's GPU rather than blocking the main browser thread. The processed result is written directly from memory to your downloads folder.
The PDF tools work the same way using three mature open-source libraries that run entirely client-side: pdf-lib for merging, splitting, and rotating pages; jsPDF for converting images into PDF documents; and PDF.js (the same rendering engine Firefox uses internally) for converting PDF pages back into images at up to 300 DPI.
The only external resources loaded are the heic2any library from a CDN (for converting iPhone HEIC photos), and Google Fonts for typography. Neither receives your image or document data — they're just code libraries running in your browser, the same way a calculator app runs locally without phoning home every time you press a button.

The full toolkit
Image Editor — the core tool. Handles one photo at a time with full creative control:
- Auto Enhance — Automatic histogram stretching and vibrance boost for instantly better photos
- Smart Compress — Set a target file size and we hit it with iterative quality reduction, always maximising quality within the limit
- HEIC / HEIF Conversion — Converts iPhone photos to universally compatible JPEG format, entirely client-side
- Before / After Comparison — Drag a split-screen divider to compare your original against the edited version in real time
- Undo / Redo History — Step back through 20 operations using snapshots stored in browser memory
- Non-Destructive Adjustments — Brightness, contrast, saturation and hue sliders preview instantly using GPU-accelerated CSS filters; your original is only modified when you click Apply
- 50+ Platform Presets — Exact pixel dimensions for Instagram, TikTok, Amazon, Shopify, Walmart, Google Shopping, US/India/UK passport photos, YouTube, Pinterest and more
- Crop with Aspect Lock — Free crop or constrained to any ratio, with a rule-of-thirds grid and live dimension hints
- Rotate & Flip, Effects — Grayscale, sepia, sharpen, vignette, film grain, soft blur
- Text Watermark, Format Export, Clipboard Paste — Export to JPEG/PNG/WebP with a quality slider; paste screenshots directly with Ctrl+V
Batch Editor — for product photographers and e-commerce sellers who need the same treatment applied to many photos at once:
- Marketplace Templates — One-click dimension presets for Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, eBay, Walmart, Google Shopping
- Fit / Exact / Fill & Crop modes — Choose how each photo is resized to your target dimensions
- Bulk Watermarking — Apply the same brand watermark across an entire batch in one pass
- ZIP Download — Up to 50 images processed and packaged into a single download
PDF Toolkit — for document workflows that don't need a desktop app:
- Images → PDF — Combine multiple photos into a single PDF document
- PDF → Images — Extract pages as JPG or PNG at up to 300 DPI
- Merge, Split, Rotate — Combine multiple PDFs, extract specific page ranges, or rotate individual pages
Who actually uses this
Three groups make up most of our traffic. People applying for a passport, visa, or government job who need a photo resized to an exact, fussy pixel specification — usually under time pressure and uncomfortable uploading an ID photo to an unfamiliar server. E-commerce sellers on Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, or eBay who need product photos resized to platform-specific dimensions, sometimes one at a time and sometimes by the dozen. And everyday users converting a HEIC photo from an iPhone, compressing an image for an email attachment, or needing a quick crop without installing software.
If you fall into any of these groups and the tool saved you time, that's exactly what it was built for.

Our commitment to privacy
We display ads to keep PixelFix Pro free. Google AdSense serves these ads and uses cookies, which is standard practice and disclosed in full in our Privacy Policy. This is the only data collection involved in running this site — and it's limited to ad serving, never your images or documents.
We deliberately avoid intrusive ad formats. No pop-unders, no full-screen interstitials between page loads, no in-page push ads. A privacy-first tool with aggressive, disruptive advertising would be a contradiction, so we don't run any.
We do not run session recording or install tracking pixels beyond standard analytics for understanding aggregate traffic (which pages are visited, not what you do inside the editor). Your editing activity — every resize, crop, and filter — stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.
No backend, no updates, no maintenance
PixelFix Pro is a static site with no backend server, no database, and no user accounts to maintain. The tools work offline once the page has loaded. There's no subscription to manage, no server uptime to monitor, and no data breach risk for image content, because there's no server-side image storage to breach. This was a deliberate architectural choice — a tool meant to keep working reliably for years without needing active maintenance.
