PixelFix Pro handles common image and PDF jobs without an account or an upload pipeline. It is built and tested by Haresh; the background and trade-offs are documented in the project story.

What PixelFix Pro is

PixelFix Pro is a free web toolkit with a single-image editor, a Batch Editor for up to 50 files, a PDF Toolkit, an EXIF remover, a colour picker, and a favicon generator. The tools use browser APIs and locally bundled processing libraries, so the selected file remains in browser memory instead of being posted to an image-processing server.

The site itself still makes ordinary web requests for pages, fonts, consented analytics, advertising, and payment support. Those requests do not contain the image or PDF you selected. This distinction matters: “local processing” describes the file workflow, not a claim that the whole webpage is disconnected from the internet.

How it works, technically

When you choose an image, the browser decodes it into memory. Canvas and OffscreenCanvas handle resizing, export, filters, and compositing; heavier enhancement work can use a web worker so the main interface remains responsive. Browser and device capabilities determine whether individual drawing operations are hardware accelerated.

The PDF tools work the same way using three mature open-source libraries that run entirely client-side: pdf-lib for merging, splitting, and rotating pages; jsPDF for converting images into PDF documents; and PDF.js (the same rendering engine Firefox uses internally) for converting PDF pages back into images at up to 300 DPI.

The PDF, ZIP, and HEIC engines are versioned project dependencies bundled into PixelFix Pro's own build. They load as same-origin assets when a relevant tool needs them; the file being processed is passed directly to that code in your browser.

The full toolkit

Image Editor — the core tool. Handles one photo at a time with full creative control:

  • Auto Enhance — Automatic histogram stretching and vibrance boost to adjust tonal range; review the result before keeping it
  • Smart Compress — Search multiple JPEG quality levels and keep the best result found below the selected limit
  • HEIC / HEIF Conversion — Converts iPhone photos to universally compatible JPEG format, entirely client-side
  • Before / After Comparison — Drag a split-screen divider to compare your original against the edited version in real time
  • Undo / Redo History — Step back through 20 operations using snapshots stored in browser memory
  • Live adjustments — Preview brightness, contrast, saturation and hue as you move the sliders. Apply them yourself or switch tools to keep them automatically; Undo can step back through applied changes
  • Editable presets — Starting dimensions for common social, marketplace, and document workflows; always confirm the destination's current rules
  • Crop with Aspect Lock — Free crop or constrained to any ratio, with a rule-of-thirds grid and live dimension hints
  • Rotate, flip and adjust — Correct orientation, adjust brightness and color, or apply grayscale, sharpening and soft blur.
  • Text Watermark, Format Export, Clipboard Paste — Export to JPEG/PNG/WebP with a quality slider; paste screenshots directly with Ctrl+V

Batch Editor — for product photographers and e-commerce sellers who need the same treatment applied to many photos at once:

  • Marketplace Templates — One-click dimension presets for Amazon, Shopify, Etsy, eBay, Walmart, Google Shopping
  • Fit / Exact / Fill & Crop modes — Choose how each photo is resized to your target dimensions
  • Bulk Watermarking — Apply the same brand watermark across an entire batch in one pass

PDF Toolkit — for document workflows that don't need a desktop app:

Who these tools are for

The tools are designed for people preparing application photos, sellers resizing product images, and everyday tasks such as converting an iPhone photo or cropping a screenshot. Choose the tool by the output you need; the site does not require an account.

If you fall into any of these groups and the tool saved you time, that's exactly what it was built for.

Our commitment to privacy

PixelFix Pro uses consented analytics and may display Google advertising to cover its running costs. The Privacy Policy explains those third-party requests and storage choices. They are separate from the editor's file-processing path.

Image editing and downloads do not require payment. Advertising may help cover running costs when enabled; it is separate from the file-processing controls.

We do not use session-recording software. Consented analytics helps us understand aggregate page traffic; it is separate from the editor's file-processing path. The selected file and its pixel data are not sent to PixelFix Pro when you resize, crop, or apply a filter.

Offline behaviour and limits

PixelFix Pro has no image-processing backend, database, or user accounts. Pages and same-origin tool assets that your browser has cached can continue working offline. A first visit, an uncached engine, fonts, ads, analytics, and the support-payment flow still need a connection. Large files are also limited by the memory and browser capabilities of the device doing the work.
