Set the shape your upload needs
Enter the width and height in pixels. With Keep proportions checked, changing one dimension updates the other to match the original image’s shape. This prevents a face, logo or product from stretching.
If the destination asks for an exact rectangle, turn off Keep proportions and enter both dimensions. Choose Keep whole image to fit the entire photo inside that rectangle, or Fill frame to crop from the center. The preview shows which edges will be removed. White padding is used for JPG; PNG keeps those areas transparent.
Pixels and file size are different requirements
A 600 × 600 image is not necessarily smaller than 50 KB. File size also depends on detail, format and compression. The result shows both the pixel dimensions and actual KB so you can compare them with your form.
If the dimensions are correct but the file is still too large, use the image compressor with the required byte limit. For many images using the same settings, use the batch editor.
Choose the output format
Use JPG for ordinary photos when transparency is unnecessary. PNG keeps transparent areas and suits logos or screenshots with sharp edges, although the file may be larger. Choosing a higher JPG quality setting cannot recover detail missing from the source.
Enlarging a small picture makes more pixels, but does not add original detail. Check the preview and keep your source file. This tool accepts up to 20 MB and 20 megapixels, with a maximum of 8,000 pixels on either side. For square listing photos, the product-photo setup starts with a padded canvas.
