Merge PDF

Add your PDFs, put them in order, and download one combined document.

Add 2–20 files, up to 50 MB combined. You can add more files to the list. You can also drop files here.

Pages follow the file order below. Use the up and down buttons to reorder files before merging.

Choose at least two PDFs to start.

    Check the order before merging

Add at least two PDF files. The numbered list shows the merge order and page count for each file. Use Up and Down to move a file, or Remove to leave it out. All pages from the first file come before all pages from the second file, and so on.

You can choose files in several selections. Adding or reordering them clears the previous download, so the result always matches the current list. The source PDFs remain unchanged.

    What a combined PDF preserves

Merging copies the pages into one document without turning each page into a JPEG. Pages retain their original sizes and orientations; a landscape appendix can follow a portrait report. Text that was selectable in the source pages generally stays selectable.

Do not rely on this workflow to preserve digital signatures, editable form behavior, document bookmarks or accessibility tagging. Keep the original documents and check the merged copy in a PDF reader. If a signed original must be submitted, follow the recipient’s instructions before combining it.

    Limits and alternatives

Each merge accepts 2–20 PDFs with up to 50 MB of source files and 500 pages combined. Password-protected or unreadable PDFs are rejected. A failed file does not remove valid files already in the list. Large or complex documents can still take longer on a phone.

Merging is not a file-size compression tool: the result may remain close to the combined source sizes. To create a PDF from photos, use Images to PDF. To turn pages into image files, use PDF to JPG. For a typed note, Text to PDF creates a searchable document.
