Keep the product inside the frame
Keep whole image scales the photo without stretching and centers it on a white JPG background. This preserves handles, packaging and other details near the edge. It adds space around the photo; it does not remove the existing background or cut the product out.
Fill frame crops the center to cover the canvas. This can create a tighter thumbnail, but a tall or wide product may lose important edges. Test the output on three representative images before applying the same approach to a catalogue.
Use the dimensions from your listing requirements
The 1600, 2000 and 2048-pixel square options are editable starting canvases. They are not a guarantee of acceptance by Amazon, Shopify, Etsy or another marketplace. Enter the dimensions required for your category or storefront theme.
Check the destination’s accepted formats, minimum dimensions, file-size limit and main-image background rules. Also look at its thumbnail preview: the published crop may differ from the full image. PixelFix does not check product occupancy, remove watermarks or verify marketplace compliance.
Prepare one example before a whole batch
Download and inspect one finished photo, including the product’s smallest details. If the source has fewer pixels than the chosen canvas, the result can look soft after enlargement. Starting with the largest original usually gives you more room to resize.
For several images with the same settings, use the batch editor. For a nonsquare image with its original proportions, use Resize image. If the result needs a strict KB or MB limit, finish with the image compressor.
